Meridian Beauregard Pendleton, Great-Great-Great Aunt
Meridian Beauregard Pendleton migrated to the southern United States in the early 1800s from the West Indies. She had a pet caiman named Pierre. Meridian loved to explore the swamp, often ruining her expensive French gowns as she waded among the mangroves and lily pads on moonlit nights when the tides were high. She was rumored to be able to breathe underwater. Despite a rather large dowry (her father made his fortune through various acts of piracy), her would-be suitors found her snake-like hair and damp pale green skin to be unsettling.
She quite happily never married and lived her life befriending toads and snakes and alligators.
Printed on heavy art matte art paper in two sizes, 5 × 7 or 8 × 10 inches.
Portrait #3 in the Ghoulish Relatives Series
