Gratitude.
Casco loves the snow!
Opening the door to my little business in December, I was surprised and awed by the love and support that came at me over the internet. Unexpectedly, my launch brought me back into contact with many friends and wonderful people from all different places and times in my lifeline. Encouraging words and wisdom came at me from California to New England, from grammar school through graduate school, former students, shore rental housemates, co-workers, neighbors, family. And orders came flying in, too! I had to quickly learn to pack and ship my cards, and turned half the spare bedroom into a mini distribution warehouse.
This was much needed joy at the end of a draining year. And a good reminder that there is so much around me to be grateful for…
